How did the CFW shape your career path?
Working under the tutelage of Dr. H.T. Odum shaped my holistic thinking and understanding of how all systems work at all scales.
What is your favorite memory from the CFW?
Keeping notes and systems diagrams on napkins while meeting with Dr. Odum, playing Friday afternoon volleyball with H.T. and friends, and being escorted across the stage for my hooding on my due day for my second child.
Why is the CFW important?
The CFW pioneered restoration of wetlands and other ecosystems and much groundbreaking research was conducted there for many decades.
