Jobs and Internships

This program focuses on building field and technical skills in natural resource management while providing a supportive learning environment for students to gain practical experience.

This internship offers insight into the operations of accredited land trusts and environmental nonprofits. Participants gain experience in conservation programs, nonprofit management and communications while developing transferable professional skills.

Courses

These courses offer practical training and resources for professionals involved in wetland and water resource conservation, management and regulation.

This course covers the principles, concepts and methods used to navigate federal wetland and waters regulations, including working with disputed jurisdictional boundaries.

A three-day course focused on recognizing and identifying sedges, grasses and rushes commonly found in wetland environments.

Plant identification training designed for wetland delineators working in the southeastern United States, with a focus on species commonly found along wetland boundaries.

This course is designed to build field-ready delineation skills using the 1987 Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation Manual and regional supplements. Participants learn how to identify hydrophytic vegetation, interpret hydric soils, evaluate wetland hydrology and produce documentation that meets federal regulatory standards.
